All Staff are encouraged to develop their skills through education.
(Anyone who knows Rachann know's how strongly she believes in sharing knowledge.) Three of our staff have completed PSCA Animal Technicaian I/II certification All of our staff have completed Paragon School of Grooming Bather & Brusher training course Co-owner, Rachann Ennis Mayer, earned her Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, and has done extensive post-graduate work in Microbiology & Immunology, Secondary Education, and Project Managment. Co-Owner Tim Mayer, earned his Post Doctoral degree in Microbiology & Immunology,
and has done extentsive work in vaccine development as well as sailed the world as an navy eletrical specialist abord
the U.S.S Enterprise.
Once hired, each care giver must complete an in-house training
course centered on dog behavior, general health, and cleaning techniques. In addition each staff bathing and brushing
dogs is required to participate in Paragon School of Grooming in-house training course.
